Sales of MISSION™ OS –TCi boilers taking off

In accordance with the Aalborg Industries’ mission of developing reliable, environmentally friendly and innovative products, the latest addition to the MISSION™ product range was recently launched, and we are pleased to announce that Aalborg Industries has been awarded its first large contract for this advanced marine boiler type.
Aalborg Industries has secured an order from Linhai Hangchang Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in China for the supply of boiler plants for 4 x 16,600 DWT chemical tankers contracted by Gamot Yam Chemical Shipping in Hong Kong.
Each shipset consists of 2 x MISSION™ OS-TCi (8 t/h steam capacity each) oil-fired boiler and 1 x MISSION™ OC composite boiler (1.25 t/h steam capacity each). Deliveries of the boilers will begin early next year.
MISSION™ OS-TCi is an oil-fired boiler with steam capacities from 1.2 – 8.0 t/h. The type name of the MISSION™ OS-TCi boiler is short for Oil fired Small, Turbo Clean intelligent. Turbo Clean refers to the self-cleaning design and high efficiency in the boiler’s smoke tubes and Intelligent refers to its MISSION™ Control Touch safety/control system. A new pressure atomizing burner, type KBP, that is compact and easy to maintain has been specially developed for this boiler type.
The MISSION™ OS-TCi boiler has been designed to be service-friendly, economical, reliable, easy to manage and control, and – to the highest possible degree – environmentally friendly, with a focus on lowest product life-cycle costs.
We hope this large order will be the first of many for this very competitive boiler to the benefit of our customers and the environment.
