We are pleased to announce that Mr. Yasunori Matsumura has been appointed new Managing Director of our subsidiary in Kobe as at 1 February 2006.

Mr. Matsumura succeeds Mr Katsuhiko Ishiwata, who at his own request resigns after seven years as Managing Director of the company. Mr. Ishiwata will, however, continue as advisor with directorship in February in order to ensure a successful transition period. We would like to thank Mr. Ishiwata for his contributions to the company and to the development of Aalborg Industries’ position in Japan throughout the years.

Mr. Matsumura has worked for Aalborg Industries K.K. since June 2003 as Sales Director of our sales office in Tokyo, but has for the past few months been overall responsible for sales in Japan.
Mr. Matsumura, 56, is a naval architect and was employed at trading house Nissho Iwai Corporation’s Marine Division from 1973-2003. We congratulate Mr. Matsumura on his new challenges and look forward to co-operating on developing the company with a view to increasing our market share on the Japanese market.

The engineering and sales offices of Aalborg Industries K.K. in Kobe and Tokyo has a total of 34 employees of whom three are employed at the sales office in Tokyo. The office can trace its roots back to 1954.
Aalborg Industries K.K.'s main products are marine steam and hot-water boilers, thermal fluid heaters, exhaust gas economizers, shell & tube heat exchangers, inert gas systems and Smit inert gas generators. The inert gas generators are marketed in the region.
